The State of Education in Chicago: A Community Response
If you're in and around the Chicago area please join us for this important community event. This is one of many planned gatherings that responds to the Chicago Public Schools' attempts to convert "failing" community schools to charters. Under HB 363 (a direct outgrowth of community action) CPS cannot make reform decisions w/out community input. Accordingly, on 6/16, the Humbolt Park community will begin dialogues and exercise their right to propose a research-based solution for turning around Roberto Clemente HS.
We are proud that this community is a part of the NLERAP family!
