On Sunday Sept.11th we will be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the 1966 Rio Grande Farm Workers Melon Strike & March to Austin. Please put this date on your calendar. This is going to be a historical event, aqui estamos y no nos vamos. I attended the June 1st. Anniversary in Rio Grande and was quite impress with the elder huelgistas stories. Tish Hinojosa, Juan Tejeda and Raul Valdez provided la musica.
