Praise for Luz Elena Valenzuela representing Southwestern University in Edinburgh, Scotland at the 2018 Edinburgh Festival Fringe

Luz Elena Valenzuela after her April 21,
2018 senior recital, Southwestern
University, Georgetown, Texas
Praise for our daughter, Luz Elena Valenzuela, who was chosen to represent Southwestern University this summer at the 2018 Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Edinburgh, Scotland where she will perform as part of the Don Juan Project

Taking place in August, 2018, the festival is recognized as the largest arts festival in the world, boasting a record-breaking 53,000 performances last summer alone. Her parents are very proud of her and happy to get the chance to tag along for the celebration.

We cannot thank the Sarofim School of Fine Arts and the university faculty, in general, enough for helping Luz to develop her talent and to accomplish her dreams.  What a gem of a university, as evidenced by a recent $15 million, largest-ever gift to the university.

On a related note, Luz is graduating from college this week from Southwestern University with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts in the area of Musical Performance Opera. Her soprano voice is powerful, spellbinding, and sublime!

Congratulations from your Mom & Dad, Luz!

Keep on singing!    ♬🎶♪♫

We love you!
