As the U.S. Shuts Its Doors, Migrants at the Mexican Border Continue to Hope

It's painful to anticipate the persecution and the horrors that await these poor souls.  The "Wretched of the Earth," as Frantz Fanon referred to them in his classic, highly-influential, treatise on colonialism [download pdf version of his work here].

These are the Indigenous peoples and their descendants of this land and continent that are still bearing the brunt of colonialism.

Sometimes, literally, all one has is hope and faith in a better tomorrow...
