Happy to share the recent news that August 25 is now regarded as "Martha P. Cotera Day" in the City of Austin by proclamation of
Mayor Steven Adler, Council Member Delia Garza, and the Austin City
Council. Here is a nice piece written by Alfredo Santos below on Martha,

Martha P. Cotera is
a local, state, national, and international treasure.
Now we have a regular, August 25th, summer party in store for us,
annually!
