Treat Yourself to this LULAC co-sponsored Town Hall to Discuss the Impact of Covid-19 on Students and Educators

I thoroughly enjoyed this LULAC co-sponsored Town Hall meeting that took place this week, featuring Sindy Benavides, CEO, LULAC; Lily Eskelsen García, President, NEA, Jackie Vimo, Policy Analyst, National Immigration Law Center; and Cheryl Aguilar, LICSW, LCSW-C, Founding Director and Lead Therapist, Hope Center for Wellness.  The purpose was to discuss the impact of COVID on students and teachers.

It was real talk.  These mujeres, these women rocked!  Lots of resources here for our communities everywhere in this moment of COVID.

I loved hearing just how animated our LULAC Councils are throughout the country in meeting people's needs.  I have been a LULAC member for many years and would expect no less, but the affirmation is nevertheless heartening.

Listen and get motivated.  Listen and be encouraged.

You can even benefit directly with the guided breathing exercises and soulful meditation provided by Cheryl Aguilar.  But you must stay on to the very end.

Sí se puede!  Yes we can!
