Friends:
None of us should ever succumb to the myth that we're "less than" anybody else. We're not. We're beautiful. We're loved. We're not broken. We don't need to be fixed. We need to be loved.
We're children of the Creator.
Our students, in particular, need to know in deep and meaningful ways that they are loved and cared for. They need to know that every way in which they are different is every way that they are strong.
And as Oscar Wilde once said, "Be yourself; everyone else is already taken."
To get to this place of love, however, one must embark on that intrepid journey to the soul.
