Data l The Hispanic Origin Population in the US, 2007 & 2008l Census Bureau (Released: 9.30.09)

Demographic

America's Families and Living Arrangements: 2007 -- Oct. 1 -- A new report
shows that the 5.6 million stay-at-home mothers in 2007 were younger and
more likely to be Hispanic and foreign-born than mothers who were in the
labor force. Nearly one-fourth of all married-couple families in the U.S.
had a stay-at-home mother. This report is based on a special tabulation
using data from the Current Population Survey and the American Community
Survey to provide a look at the basic trends in household and family
composition. It shows state-level variation in the kinds of households
children live in, such as married-couple families, unmarried-partner
households and single-parent families. Internet address:

population group are shown by a wide range of demographic and socioeconomic
characteristics. They include information on the generational distribution
of the Hispanic population, as well as of specific groups, such as Mexican,
Puerto Rican and Cuban. There are also tabulations on educational
attainment, nativity and citizenship status, year of entry of the
