Very good analysis by David Bacon on parent trigger laws and how, ironically—as motivators of "parent involvement"—they can be a way to mislead parents of school-age children into contracting out their public school to a charter program that ends up narrowly circumscribing parent involvement in schools. Look out for parent trigger laws coming your way!
