I am a strong advocate for growing our own educators (a.k.a. "GYO") that I and others are in fact working on here in Austin, Texas. Here is an excellent video that underscores its importance. Thanks to Dr. Maureen Gillette for sharing. Unfortunately, the state of Illinois recently de-funded this program.
