Today the Center on Education Policy released a report that examines the achievement of English language learners on state math and reading tests and discusses the issues surrounding the classification and testing of these students. State Test Score Trends Through 2007-08, Part 6: Has Progress Been Made in Raising Achievement for English Language Learners? is posted on the CEP Web site (www.cep-dc.org ) under “What’s New” and can be downloaded free-of-charge.
