If you’ve been following my work, you may have come across my recent blog post, "From Fossil Fuels Dependence to Shared Futures: What Venezuela’s Pivot Teaches Us."Together with the video that inspired it, the piece offers important context for understanding President Trump’s actions and the far-reaching ramifications they are likely to have—particularly for Venezuela, the region, and global energy geopolitics.
The Answer Coalition has organized an emergency "No War on Venezuela" rally tomorrow at 1PM at Austin City Hall (301 W. 2nd Street, Austin, Texas). Personally, I deeply hope that any move toward military escalation or further destabilization is widely and unequivocally condemned.
