Happy to share this amazing story about a young man, Ralph Lazo, who opted to go to a Japanese internment
camp in solidarity with those that got interned along with him. Thanks
to Rudy Acuña for letting me and others know about him. And thanks, as well, to Claire Massey for sharing this documentary about him. This kind of story should find its way into our K-12 curriculum, particularly in our Ethnic Studies courses.
