An athlete whose indigenous skills helped make her a marathon star

This young woman is going places.  Literally and figuratively.

The Raramuri (also called Tarahumara) of northern Mexico are the best
runners in the world. They're such good runners that olympic marathons
are literally too short for them.

An excellent book that I highly recommend in this regard is Christopher
McDougall's, Born to Run.

I read very few books in one sitting. This was one of them.
