11-Year Old Mariachi Child Prodigy from Houston, Texas, Eduardo Antonio Treviño, impresses the judges in America's Got Talent (AGT 2023).

This eleven-year-old mariachi singer out of Houston is dynamite!

He auditioned recently for America's Got Talent (AGT), earning four votes from the judges beginning with Sofía Vergara. In her usual style, Sofía Vergara, is a crack up.

At the age of 10, Eduardo Treviño was previously featured on 'The Jennifer Hudson Show' where he is acknowledged as a child prodigy.

I just love his poise and how he exudes such pride in his Mexican culture. You make us proud, Eduardo. Keep up the hard work!

Best of wishes to Eduardo Antonio Treviño as well as to Mariachi Imperio (@mariachi_nuevoimperio on Instagram) for honoring our culture in what promises to be a brilliant career that show just how much soul and beauty mariachi music gifts the world.

Tribute to Linda Ronstadt Concert Video, CSU Northridge.

I listened to this whole tribute to the legendary Linda Ronstadt. Many of is in the Mexican and Mexican American community grew up with Mariachi music. I encourage listening to this tribute, and also learning about her pathbreaking career that should serve as an inspiration to us all.  It is titled "Linda Ronstadt: The Sound of My Voice." You can view it on Netflix. Also, her album, "Canciones de Mi Padre" is still a major hit, reflecting not only her excellence, but hunger for positive, hopeful, strong exemplars that speak to, and represent, your soul.

It perhaps goes without mention that Mariachi music enjoys international acclaim.  The University of Texas boasts Mariachi Paredes that dates back to 1977.

It's so expressive and dramatic.  Not to be taken for granted. There's just nothing like it.

Enjoy!
