Must-listen to interview of Bill Gates by Trevor Noah. Here is the link to the Ted Talk delivered by Bill Gates on April 3, 2015 that is referenced herein.  "We have all the science and technology that we need," he says, to address the current and other epidemics and pandemics. What is lacking is an infrastructure of preparedness.

In another encouraging report, if true, Bill Gates says foundation will invest billions in fight to stop COVID-19 (he mentions $100 million in this posted interview).  Twitter's Jack Dorsey is also investing a billion for COVD-19 relief. For example, "$100,000 has been granted to America’s Food Fund, which was started by Laurene Powell Jobs and Leonardo DiCaprio."

So glad to see at least some in the top 1 percent stepping up.
