IDRA Education Policy Fellows of Color Opportunity

Great opportunity to be an IDRA Education Policy Fellow of Color!  Here are the details from Morgan Craven, IDRA’s National Director of Policy, Advocacy, and Community Engagement.

We wanted to share some exciting news with you -- you may have seen that IDRA just announced a new Education Policy Fellows of Color program. We believe there are not enough advocates of color doing state-level policy work, so we are offering real-world, real-time training leading up to and during the next Texas legislative session.

The fellowship is for nine months and each Fellow will receive a $40,000 stipend. Please check out our flier and fellowship application (due September 25th) for more information and please feel free to share with your networks.

We plan to open the fellowship training sessions to TLEEC members and others who are interested in the training but who are not part of the formal fellowship program. We will be reaching out for your help with the training and with building a network of support for the Fellows.  Thank you in advance!!  If you have any questions please email Morgan Craven at morgan.craven@idra.org.

Opportunities like this are far and few between and we need hard-working people who are dedicated to social justice to be involved. September 25th is the application deadline.
