'Perilous': Detroit NAACP president calls out Trump's anti-Black record

Such eloquence by the Rev. Dr. Wendell Anthony, president of the Detroit branch of the NAACP calling out Trump's hypocrisy when he visited a Black church in Detroit over the weekend. According to another news source, The New Republic, Trump flopped "big time."

Reverend Dr. Anthony is appropriately offended even as he cogently draws a line between politics and policy for the Black community that Trump flatly does not support. The same could be said, of course, regarding the contempt he holds toward the Latino/x and other non-white communities.

What's most offensive is just how stupid he thinks our communities are. Thanks to Texas NAACP President Gary Bledsoe for sharing.

In a bid to court Black voters, Donald Trump visited a Black church in Detroit on Saturday and argued that President Biden has "been the worst president for Black people." Rev. Dr. Wendell Anthony, president of the Detroit branch of the NAACP, joined The Sunday Show to call out Trump's hypocrisy and his anti-Black agenda. Link.
